O's Notes: This is the George Gee Big Band being directed by Frank Foster.
Frank, one of the underrated composers on the scene displays his wares
directing a fine band playing a wide variety of tunes including a couple
of his own tunes. The band includes all of Gee's regulars with Howard
Johnson stepping in on baritone sax & bass clarinet. Carla Cook adds
beautiful vocals on several tracks, notably "Lover Come Back To Me".
This is exceptionally well done!
